Documenting a location/house in the family tree

Challenge: 

At my last trip to Kräbäck, Österfärnebo see Släktforskartur Österfärnebo I found the house and the village my relatives has lived in and I would like to document it once and add it to the tree to facts that are related to house/village.

The residence fact in Ancestry.com is not my best friend. I tried to use it telling that a person lived at a place between 1882-1884 and then I added sources/citations to prove that (and with the help of Evidentia I hope also to add an analyse).

Now I have changed my approach and add a Residence fact and add the date when a person moved in and add a comment when he moved out and then I gather all the citations that belongs to that residence.

      "I vår förening har vi ett fotoarkiv där jag knackar dörr eller blir kontaktad av ägare till foton från socknen. Jag lånar dem och skannar in dem till vårt fotoarkiv och så skriver jag in namn på personerna på fotona i en Accessdatabas så det är lätt att söka fram när någon frågar. Om du vill kan jag kolla där vilka foton som finns på familjen Wiberg. Jag tycker mig minnas så här på direkten att det finns foton på döttrar i familjen och ett vigselfoto som jag inte minns vem det föreställer. I gengäld skulle jag kanske kunna få låna dina foton som härrör härifrån och skanna in till arkivet."

    Soldat 97 Kräbäck Österfärnebo August Wiberg 1884-

    Byns soldater från häftet Kräbäck jun 1994 sidan 57

    I och med att indelningsverket infördes i slutet av 1600-talet blev en eller flera bondgårdar skyldiga att hålla en soldat med torp och mark därtill. I 200 år varade den här skyldigheten som kunde bli ganska krävande för gårdarna, i synnerhet vid fredstider. Inte förrän i början av  vårt sekel slog den allmänna värnplikten igenom helt och soldatrotarna avskaffades.
    Österfärnebogårdarna höll sammanlagt 44 soldater och tillsammans med Hedesunda, Årsunda och Torsåker bildade de Fernebo kompani om 150 man. Övningsområde var Mohed.
