Export from FTM 2014 to Gedcom

Below different ways to export to Gedcom with non ASCII characters (using Farsi)


Issue looks like there is a problem generating PDF reports with UTF-8 characters from the Complete Genealogy Reporter - Case closed as it is a non issue for me
Fix recommended from support (looks still a problem) You need to need to select the RTL text option for PDF reports – see attached.

Farsi language

Goal: We should have the Persian spelling of names as then it will be easier in a future to research for ancestors in Iran plus it is best practice to store a name or a location in its original form i.e. Proskau in Poland 1860 should be the name the city had at that time. Proskau is the German spelling and Prószkówi is the Polish see wiki
